REFUGEES AFFECTED AND HOSTING AREAS (RAHA)

The Refugees Affected and Hosting Areas (RAHA) unit within the Commissionerate Afghan Refugees KP provides a comprehensive range of services aimed at promoting social cohesion, economic empowerment, and sustainable development in areas affected by refugee influxes.

Through livelihood support initiatives, infrastructure development projects, and social protection programs, RAHA addresses the needs of both Afghan refugees and the communities hosting them. The unit also fosters community empowerment through participatory decision-making processes and capacity-building activities.

By promoting dialogue, reconciliation, and conflict resolution, RAHA works to mitigate tensions and build peaceful coexistence between refugees and host communities. Additionally, RAHA supports access to education and healthcare services, contributing to the overall well-being and integration of refugees and host populations. Through its multifaceted approach, RAHA plays a vital role in fostering resilience and stability in the region.
