The much-awaited Afghan Cricket League 2024 -Season 5 officially began on 10th December 2024 with an opening ceremony at the historic Islamia College University, Peshawar. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Shakeel Muhammad Khan Safi, Commissioner for Afghan Refugees, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Twelve teams from Refugee Villages (RVs) across KP are participating with players from both the Afghan refugee and host communities showcasing the power of cricket in bringing people together.
The Afghan Cricket League continues to serve as a platform for young athletes to showcase their skills, celebrate their shared passion for cricket and strengthen bonds between communities.
