The Commissioner for Afghan Refugees, KP, Mr. Shakeel Muhammad Khan Safi, met with the Director General of Rescue 1122 at the organization’s headquarters in Peshawar, where he was given a comprehensive tour of the facility observing state-of-the-art equipment and emergency response protocols . During the meeting, the DG briefed the Commissioner on Rescue 1122’s operational capabilities emphasizing their role in disaster response, medical emergencies and fire control while discussions focused on addressing the unique challenges faced by Afghan refugee communities during emergencies.
