The University of Peshawar has launched the Adolescent Youth Facilitation Space (AYFS) at the College of Home Economics to empower young girls through education, life skills and community engagement.
Supported by UNFPA and the School of Leadership Foundation, the space offers counseling, gender-inclusive environments, volunteer work and recreational activities.
Commissioner for Afghan Refugees, KP Shakeel Muhammad Khan Safi, praised the initiative extending support for similar projects across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to foster youth empowerment and inclusion.
