To celebrate World Refugee Day, BBSC-GIZ organized a special event at NIC Islamabad. The event featured inspiring short films made by Afghan refugee women and members of the host communities. These films shared real stories of bravery and positive change.
Colorful cultural and handicraft stalls from the Urban Cohesion Hubs in Peshawar, Quetta, and Karachi displayed the rich traditions and heritage of these communities.
The Chief Commissioner for Afghan Refugees, Islamabad Asmatullah Shah and the Commissioner for Afghan Refugees, KP Shakeel Muhammad Khan Safi also attended the event.
