Swabi, February 20: Federal Minister for SAFRON and Kashmir Affairs & Gilgit Baltistan Engineer Amir Muqam along with Commissioner for Afghan Refugees ,KP Shakeel Muhammad Khan Safi inaugurated Solar System at Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Chota Lahore, Swabi.
On this occasion, the federal minister was warmly welcomed by the MS and Senior hospital officials. The local residents and hospital administration expressed their gratitude to the federal minister and UNHCR Pakistan for supporting the solarization of the hospital.
This hospital serves a large number of Afghan refugees alongside the local Pakistani community ensuring equal access to healthcare for all. With the installation of the solar system, the hospital now enjoys an uninterrupted 24/7 power supply while also cutting its energy costs by 60%.
