The University of Engineering & Technology (UET), Peshawar, has officially announced 53 reserved seats for Afghan refugee students for admission to 1st Semester, B.Sc. Engineering and Non-Engineering programs for the academic session 2025-26. These seats are distributed across various UET campuses including Peshawar, Mardan, Bannu, Kohat and Abbottabad.
Programs Offered Include:
– Chemical Engineering
– Civil Engineering (Peshawar & Jalozai)
– Electrical Engineering (Peshawar, Bannu, Jalozai)
– Industrial Engineering (Peshawar, Jalozai)
– Mechanical Engineering (Peshawar, Jalozai)
– Mechatronics, Mining, Computer Systems and more
Important Instruction:
All documents of nominated candidates must reach the Admissions Section of EYDC, Commissionerate for Afghan Refugees, KP, Phase-5, Hayatabad, Peshawar, by 24th August 2025 for timely processing and onward submission to UET Peshawar. No nominations will be entertained after the deadline.
Eligibility Criteria:
– Must have appeared in the relevant entrance tests conducted by PEC-recognized testing agencies.
– Must have passed F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, or Computer Science) with a minimum of 60% marks.
– Equivalence certificates are required for foreign qualifications from IBCC.
